Dr Onajin-Obembe (MBBS, FWACS, MBA, PhD) is a global anaesthesiologist and Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She is the President of Global Alliance for Surgical, Obstetrics, Trauma, and Anaesthesia Care (The G4 Alliance), an alliance of over 75 organizations. She is also Past-President of the Nigerian Society of Anesthetists. She has been a pioneer of paediatric, maxillofacial, ear, nose, and throat anaesthesia in Nigeria and now works to promote surgical and anaesthesia healthcare policies and practice. She has over 60 peer reviewed publications.
