Step into the world of aeromedical retrieval with a visit to CareFlight
NT and participate in a behind the scenes tour of the base at Darwin International Airport. Meet our crews and aircraft including our Gulfstream jets, King Air turboprop aircraft and AW139 helicopters. Undertake elements of training and simulation that our retrieval doctors and nurses complete to prepare them for medicine in the air. As this is an active base, there may be the opportunity to watch a mission being triaged and tasked or a mission returning.
