Dr Chooi (Flinders Medical Centre, Australia) is an anaesthetist who has recently returned from Boston Childrens Hospital after completing her fellowship in paediatric regional anaesthesia. This workshop will cover ultrasound guided caudal blocks in children including; anatomy, technique, equipment, additives, continuous catheters and hands-on live scanning using models in a small group setting with experienced paediatric regional anaesthetist faculty. Through interactive simulations and practical demonstrations, you'll learn about nerve block approaches, patient selection criteria, anatomical considerations, and paediatric-specific nuances.
